"Miss Mary Morris died at her home on West College street, Thursday morning, Feb. 9, aged 49 years, of consumption. Miss Morris was a consistent member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church and was very highly respected. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Harvey Elms, and two nieces, Sarah and Lucy Elms, who resided with her, and two brothers, James Morris, of Omaha; and D. M. Morris, of Hansen, Neb. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1 p. m. Interment in Green Mount cemetery."
