About Mary Mortimer Fagen

Mary Blue was the daughter of David Blue and Phoebe Wallingford Blue. At the age of 14 she gave birth to her first child, Thomas Blue. At the age of 16 she married Famous Mortimer Sr. on October 13, 1816 in Fleming County, Kentucky at a wedding officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Wilson. Following Famous Mortimer's death in 1851, she married Joseph Fagen December 18, 1853 in Parke County, Indiana. She died in 1866 in Oldtown Township in McLean County, Illinois.
