Mary Hope, wife of James Hope, deceased for many years, a resident of Hall co. and now making her home a part of the time with her children in this county and with those in Forsyth co. She was born March 27,1783. Mother of 12 children, 79 grandchildren,119 great grandchildren, 16 gg grandchildren. Mrs Hope notwithstanding her advanced age, is still sprightly and lively, able to visit house to house. Converses freely and cheerfully and bids fair to live a decade at least.
D/O William Mullinax b.abt 1760 and Martha Triplett b.abt 1760. Granddaughter of John Mullinax b. 1737 Va.or SC who lived in the Kings Mtn area in 1764.
