Marriage:

1. William Trotter married Mary Newby in 1726 in Perquimans County, NC, United States. He died in 1729.
2. She then married in 1731 to Dr. Phineas Nixon, his 1st wife; he married Mary Pierce second.

Children

Dorothy was the daughter of William Trotter and Mary Newby. William died in 1729 and Mary then married Phineas Nixon in 1731. Mary died before 4 month 1747. Phineas remarried in 1748 to Mary Pierce.

Elizabeth was the first of two daughters Phineas and Mary Newby Trotter had. Phineas didn't have any more children until after 1740 when he married Mary Peirce.
