Mary Rucker aka Offill was born about 1702 in Virginia Colony, the daughter of Peter Rucker and Elizabeth (Fielding) Rucker. Mary Offell and her mother are mentioned in her father’s willl.[1]

Mary married William Offill (Offell/Offall same source), before 1734. In 1734, Mary, wife of William Offall (Offill/Offel in same source), received from brother, John Rucker, 100 acres of land in St. Mark's Parish, Spotsylvania, beginning at Ann Rucker's ... to Michael Holt's and to John Rucker's line (D. B. B, p. 496) Spotsylvania. [2].

William Offill patented 2000 acres of land in Orange, Rockingham and Page Counties. In 1752 after the death of Elizabeth (Fielding Rucker), William Offill received a negro out of Peter Rucker's, deceased, estate. [3]

In 1755, Nov. 4, William Offill and wife, Mary of Broomfield Parish, Culpeper, sold to John Offill for 10 lbs. sterling, 100 acres, part of the patent made by John Rucker, adjoining Ephraim Rucker, Isaac Tinsley, Richard Vawter, Jeremiah Early and Peter Rucker.[4][5]

The source for Mary’s death is FAG which notes it is purely a guess [6]

Mary was born about 1702. She passed away about 1752. [THIS WAS HER MOTHER-IN-LAW'S DEATH DATE, PROB NOT HERS].
