FLOWERS 1
Died at her home near Hubbard on the 28th of Jan., 1902, age 55 years, Mrs. Mary Potter. wife of G. L. Potter, after 6 weeks of terrible suffering.

She leaves a husband and five sons, Alvin, Charley, Ed, George, and Aldin, and one sister, Mrs. E. M. Ripley, and two brothers, Harve Johnson, of this place and Will Johnson of Bucoda, Washington, and also a great many friends to mourn her loss.

The deceased with her husband and family was one of the first settlers in Hubbard county, coming here from Iowa in 1882.
The funeral service was held at the Hubbard church with Rev. Cunningham officiating, and the remains was laid to rest in Hubbard cemetery.
The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of host of friends in their sad affliction.

Gone from our home forever,
The darling of our band,
Crossed o'er the mystic river
Into the summer land

Gone from the world of sadness,
Gone from a bed in pain,
Into eternal gladness,
Never to weep again.
