About Mary Mourning Wilkey
She was my 4x's Great Grandmother. She had an affair with William Chelsey Morgan Proffitt and had a son with him. They never married. Her parents raised David O Wilkey as their own child. As far as I know none of my Wilkey family researchers have ever found any information on Mary. If anyone reading this knows what happened to her or where she is buried please contact me and I will put the information on this memorial.
