She might have been the Mary Brown who married Nathan Quillen 17 August 1818 in New Castle County, Delaware but ages and dates suggest Mary Brown married the other Nathan Quillen
She was probably the Mary Quillen, widow of the Nathaniel Quillen who had served in the Revolutionary War: "May 21, 1840. Mr. Darsie presented the petition and documents of Mary Quillen, of Allegheny County, starting the services of her late husband, Nathaniel Quillen, in the Revolutionary war, and praying for relief."
