About Mary Ann Ricketts
She is referred to as "my Daughter Mary Pickits" (transcription error?) and left one shilling in the will of Charles Cheney Sr., probated 14 Feb 1744/5. This appears to be the only extant primary documentation relating to her; additional sources derive from databases etc. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L6RK-CT2
Recorded as just "Mary", not "Mary Ann". Recorded as marrying Edward, not William, Ricketts.
But Edward had a second wife, Margaret Powell, whom he married circa 1752 - so unless there was a divorce or he was a bigamist, there's something not right. [Are we sure that's the same Edward Ricketts?]
