Mrs. Mary S. Roy, 80, native of Tucker county and former resident of Hendricks, died Thursday, at the home of a son, Homer Roy, Philadelphia, after a long illness.
Mrs. Roy moved to Philadelphia a few years ago.
She was born February 3, 1872 in Harman, a daughter of the late Saul and Jane Pennington.
Her third husband, Isaac Roy, died May 30, 1938.
Survivors include two other sons, Anderson Ketterman, Massillion, Ohio, and Timothy Roy, Buffalo, N.Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Simpson, Mrs. Hattie Snow and Mrs. Gertie Ketterman, Akron, and Mrs. Zernie Rhoades, Hambleton; three brothers, George Pennington, Harrisonburg, Va., and French Pennington, Spencer, and two sisters, Mrs. Doral Blanchard, Elkins, and Mrs. Ruth Calihan, Kass.
