According to Beider, the surname Soletskij is from the Sol'cha River in the Vilna Gubernia.

So we have Mendel, born circa 1819; his first wife Rauza, died 1856; his second wife, Merka daughter of David, born circa 1828; his daughter Chaya born circa 1846.

So Mendel married Merka (later known as Mary) after 1856 and before 1858. Also she was age 30 in 1858, so may have been born in 1828, not 1830.
