Facts about Mary updated based on research published 7.23 in NEHGS, article attached to sources for her father Robert Reynolds of Boston's profile.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Based on Marion Reynolds' book, think her birth date is ca. 1630. She married 19 years later in 1649 and raised 8 children in Watertown, where they were a prominent local family. Only husband cited is Robert Sanger.

Biography

Mary Reynolds was born in about 1631 to Robert and Mary (___) Reynolds, probably in England. The family is thought to have emigrated to New England about 1634, based on her father's admission to the church at that time. [1]

In her father Robert's will written April 20. 1658, he named all his children including 'my daughter Mary Sanger and her son Nathaniel, should he die then to the next child.' [2]

Mary married Richard Sanger by about 1649/50 as their first child was born in August, 1650. [1] [3] [4] Her husband Richard, aged 18, came to New England aboard the ship Confidence in 1638 as a servant to Edward Goodenow. [5]

Mary died after October 7, 1706, as her brother Nathaniel Reynolds names his sister Mary Sanger among his bequests in his will written on that date and probated on November 3, 1708. [6] [7] Per another source, Mary died after 1711.[8]
