Mary Seton de Winton

George, fourth Earl of "Winton, married first, 4 September 1662, his kinswoman Mary Montgomerie, eldest daughter of the second marriage of Hugh, seventh Earl of Eglinton. She died in 1677. They had issue an only daughter :

Mary, baptized 24 November 1666 ; 12 died at the age of three years. He married secondly, in or before 1682, Christian, daughter and heir of George Hepburne, of Addinstoun jure uxoris (a younger son of John Hepburne of Eistcraig), by Margaret, daughter and heir of Robert Addinstoun of that Ilk (par. Tranent). The Earl had lived with Christian Hepburne for some years before their marriage, which was called in question long afterwards at the instance of Archibald, second Viscount Kingston, the next heir to the honours of Winton, but without success. She died 18 November 1703, and was buried at Seton Church. The issue of the second marriage was :

George, who succeeded as fifth Earl of Winton; Mr. Christopher, who died unmarried at Seton. 5 January 1705."
