Mary Sherwood

Mrs Mary Sherwood, wife of L.H. Sherwood, Amenia, died Wednesday in Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco, from injuries sustained in an auto accident that day in Bedford Hills. They were on their way to visit Mr. Sherwood's sisters, the Misses Laura & Matilda Sherwood in Mount Kisco. Mrs. Sherwood was born in Amenia, the daughter of Seth & Hannah Merwin and had lived here all her life. She is survived by her husband, three sisters, Miss Hariett Merwin, Binghamton, NY; Mrs. Walter Birdseye, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Dudley Culver, Wassaic. Harlem Valley Times, 13 June 1946
