MRS MARY SHIRLIN

Mrs. Mary Shirlin, 83, died early last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Cook of 34 Montana Ave. following a long illness

She was the widow of George Shirlin and a native of Madison county

Surviving are four daughters. Mrs. Cook, and Mrs V.C. Jenkins, both of Asheville and Mrs. S .A .Rollins and Mrs.G.B. Wolfe, both of St. Augustine, Fla; four sons, Harrison, Fred, Thad and Paul Shirlin all of Asheville, the brother Rev. James Collins of Asheville and a number of grandchildren.

Groce Funeral home is in charge of arrangements which were incomplete last night.
