About Mary Sparhawk

http://www.radix.net/~huston/familyweb/Nathaniel__Sparhawk.html

Mary Anger was born in Dedham, Essex, England around 1600. Her parents were John and Ann Sherman Anger. About 1620, probably in Dedham, she married Nathaniel Sparhawk. They had several children in England, and came to America with four children in 1637. They settled in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts in 1638. They had one more child in Cambridge, but that son died young. Proof of her parentage is in her father, John Anger’s will, where he gives his daughter ‘Mary Sparhauke’, ‘the hundred pounds that I did lend her husband Nathaniel Sparhacke’. Mary died in Cambridge on January 25, 1643. Her place of burial is unknown.
