Inscription: According to "The Sterling Genealogy" by Albert Mack Sterling, the inscription on her headstone reads, "Here lyeth the Remains of Mrs. Mary Starlin, wife of Capt. Daniel Starlin, who departed this life October the 16th 1744 in the 78th year of her age."
