Mary Higgins (1718-1789) who is the wife of Benjamin Stout (1707-1789).

Parents:
Jediah Higgins 1691-1772 and Hannah Stout 1694-1779 (her parents were Jonathan Stout and Anna Throckmorton Bollen)

Spouse:

Benjamin Stout 1707-1789 buried in Hopewell 'Old School Baptist' churchyard - Revolutionary War

Nine Children:
First three died young of Dysentery - Elihu 1752-1762, Hannah 1754-1766, Rebecca 1755-1767
Jediah 1757-1837 (married his cousin Mary Stout 1862-1842) migrated to Fayette Co, KY. She was the daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth Houghton Stout - my 5th Great Grandparents. Abraham in Revolutionary War- he was wounded and his oldest son Solomon was killed at the Battle of White Plains.
Rachel 1760-1820 (married Paul Hill 1751-1824) buried Hopewell 'Old School Baptist' Hunterdon (Mercer) Co. Benjamin Higgins 1762-1822 (married Rachel Stout 1764-1795 sister of btother Jediah's wife Mary (daughters of Abraham and Elizabeth Houghton)
Sarah 1764-1806 (1st wife of Elijah 'RW' Stout 1761-1838 Son of James Stout and Mary Mattison buried Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, NJ.) James was the son of Freegift 1693-1766 and Mary Higgins 1699-1773 (We don't know what her relationship was to the above Mary Higgins - she was born in Mass.) Freegift and this Mary are buried in Stout-Manners Cemetery, Ringoes, Hunterdon. Freegift was the son of David and Rebecca Ashton Stout also buried in Stout-Manners. Note: my 7th Great Grandparents.
Anne 1766-1842 - (2nd wife of Elijah 'RW' Stout-sister to the above Sarah)- migrated to KY and buried there
David 1769-1806 - 1st wife Lydia Manners 1734-1755 - 2nd wife Elizabeth Stout 1767-1844 - she was the daughter of James Turler 1732-1810 son of Capt. David and Elizabeth Larrison Stout and Catherine Stout daughter of John Stout and Rachell Merrill. They are buried in Stout-Manners Cemetery.
Note: John and Rachel Merrill Stout are my 6th Great Grandparents.
Three of their sons served in the Revolutionary War - Abraham, Nathan and Moses and so did many of the other Stout men.

The reason at least two of Benjamin's sons migrated to Ky was that he had land there, according to land records and a will. Possibly 'Bounty Land' given to Veterans of the Rev. War and War of 1812 in order to populate the Western lands.
