Thomas was born about 1645 in Prob Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts. [16] and died on 11 Nov 1730 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts [16] about age 85.

[From Original will] On 15 June, 1723, "Thomas Taber of Dartmouth. . . . yeoman" made his will. Bequests were as follows:

To "Mary my. . . . wife the southward half of my Homestead with all ye Houseing, orchards, fences, and appurtenances thereof, to be by her freely used, improved, and enjoyed dureing ye time of her widdowhood" also "all my personall Estate of what sort soever it be, only it is my will, that so much of my sd personall Estate herein given to my wife, as shall be left at her decease, and not by her disposed of shall be equally divided between my six Daughters, here after named"
