He was transferred out on 3/9/1863 into "G" Co. FL 11th Infantry.
He was listed as: POW 9/10/1864 Petersburg, VA (Captured while on picket) Confined 9/12/1864 Point Lookout, MD (Estimated date)
He died of disease as POW on 10/26/1864 at Point Lookout, MD (Died of chronic diarrhea)
Mary received a widows pension for Edward's service in the civil war.
