“Mary Mathilda Wardell always referred to her ancestors as having fought in the Civil War and one person she named as Lt. Wardell and there is a small cemetery somewhere in Brooklyn dedicated to him. I believe you can locate it on the internet under Wardell.”

However, some of the information you received from me was not correct. The Civil War ancestor of my Grandmother Mathilda Wardell was named Barkaloo, not Wardell per Doris Maier
