RICHARD WEBB “dyed the 19th day 7th Mo 1683”1 Gloucester, England. “His wife was probably married Mary Hayward, nee Hollday of Painswick, Gloucester shire, whom he married 29 August 1655 at Rodborough, Gloucester shire”2. The births of all their children appear in the Gloucester, England Monthly Meeting of Friends records.
In late 1700 or early 1701, several children of Richard and Mary Webb immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their children Richard Webb, John Webb, and their sister-in-law Hannah Lea, widow of their brother Joseph, who had since married John Lea, removed from England to Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania.
