Mary Ann Winston was born to William “Langaloo” Winston and Sarah Dabney in Hanover County, Virginia.
She was the seond wife of Dr. John Walker of King and Queen County. He was a son of Benjamin Walker, King’s attorney for Caroline County. He married first in 1756 to Sarah Camm, who died in the same year. Mary Ann and John probaby married in 1757/58. They had four children: Benjamin, John, Frances and Edmund.
Dr. John Walker died in 1777.
