About Mary Ann Turley Young Cook, Wife of Mormon Leader Brigham Young
Mary Ann Turley was born in Toronto, Canada on July 13, 1827 the daughter of Theodore and Franis Kimberley Turley.
She married Brigham Young in 1846. She came to Utah in 1849. Mary and Brigham divorced in 1851 and had no children together. She later married John Cook (1822-1882) and by him had 9 children. She died in 1904.
