Notes for MARY ANN FINLAYSON: Possibly part of family of Scottish Finlaysons, who were boat-builders/ship-owners, who emigrated via Cape Breton to New Zealand (some stayed in N.S.).

Lived in Woodstock, Ontario 1854. Moved to Kincardine Twp. around 1856. Went to Leeburn (Plummer, Ont) 1876 or 1877. Leeburn was then known as Coffin Twp. Buried in Finlayson cemetary, Plummer Twp. The Finlayson cemetary markers in Plummer were destroyed by fire.
