Marylyn Frances Christiansen, 46, rural Pelican Rapids, died Sunday, July 10, at her farm home in Norwegian Township. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at North Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Pelican Rapids, with Rev. Gary Boen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The daughter of Martin and Florence Dillerud, she was born June 9, 1937. She was baptized and confirmed in North Immanuel Lutheran Church. On July 2, 1955, in North Immanuel Lutheran Church, she and Elder Christiansen were married. A lifelong resident of the Pelican Rapids area, she worked at the West Central Turkey Plant for over 21 years and operated a ceramic and silk flowers business out of her home. She was a Sunday school superintendant, a member of the North Immanuel Lutheran Church circle, and 4-H. Survivors include her husband, Elder; mother, Florence Dillerud; four daughters, Mrs. David (Pamela Jean) Johnson, Felton, Mrs. Bruce (Cheryl Ann) Loerzel, Pennock, Mrs. Mark (Janet Marie) Tweed, and Lori Joe Christiansen, both of Fargo; two sons, Terrance of Billings, Mont., and Chad, at home; nine grandchilden; and one brother, Manley Dillerud, Elaine. Visitation at the Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, will be all day Tuesday, and one hour prior to services at the church.
