About Mathilde Loeb (Adler)
Mathilde Adler's mother, Hannah, was first married to Benjamin W. Fleisher, then to Abraham Adler.
Mathilde was the only child of Abraham and Hannah Adler. After Mathilde's death in 1875 at the age of 27, her parents, along with her husband, August Benjamin Loeb, donated the money for an out-patient infirmary that was built on York and Tabor Roads near the Jewish Hospital in North Philadelphia.
