Matija Josip Mihanović

According to the Zdenka Marković's book about the sculptor Robert Frangeš-Mihanović, Matija Mihanović was a son of the general https://www.geni.com/people/Bonaventura-Mihanovi%C4%87/6000000051604077888 Sr., which is not very likely, since Nikola was born in 1755. and Matija was born in mid-1760's. According to some statements by Frangeš family members, Antun Mihanović, the son of Matija, was an uncle to Izabela Frangeš-Mihanović, which is also impossible since her father and Matija could, at best, be the first cousins, not brothers. There is no known record showing that Matija ever used the title "od Petropolja". That trend started with his son Antun Mihanović.
