Matilda Sarah Von Bibra, Free Settler "Gilmore" 1829

Matilda was born in about 1820, most likely in Chatham, Kent.

She migrated to Western Australia with her parents on the Gilmore, arriving on 15 December 1829.[1]

Matilda married Benedict von Bibra on 7 April 1836 in Perth.[1]

Matilda passed away on 9 July 1857.[1] The location of her death is unclear. Her death does not appear in the registry indexes for Western Australia, nor has mention of her death been found in the Australian newspaper record. It's probable Matilda passed away in India, as her son Benedict was born there in August 1856, but no source has been found.
