Matthew Sharp, 20, 2302 30th Avenue South, died Thursday, October 31, 1996, near Hannaford, ND due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Matthw A. Sharp was born January 23, 1976, the son of Frederick J. and Barbara L. (Sartor) Sharp, in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from a Bellevue, Ohio school. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1993. He attended the security specialist course at Lackaldn Air Force Base, Texas. He was stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base in November 1994. He had attained the rank of airman first class. He married Jenny Grove October 7 in Grand Forks.

She survives with his parents, Sandusky, Ohio and his grandmother, Marjorie Sharp, Sandusky.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Ajmundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service in the funeral home. Burial: Rosendal Lutheran Church cemetery, Reynolds, ND.

Per Cindy Wetterlund: I visited Matthew Sharp's grave in Reynolds, ND to take a photo of it. The grave marker has a white dog (like a Collie dog) sitting loosely on the upper right corner of the marker.
