R. 27 May 1728 … ‘sister Cherry one guinea’ … … ‘brother Mathew one guinea’. They were children of Thomas Joyner, Will dated 13 April 1740. R. 28 April 1740: ‘I give and bequeath unto my daughter Cherry Harris … one chest and one feather Bed and furniture which she has in her possession already … I give unto my son Mathew Joyner … the plantation whereon I now live with two hundred and forty acres of Land thereunto belonging, one pair of English hand millstones, one iron pott, and one gun’.
