Not the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Oliver St John, Esquire of Keysoe & Sarah St. John
Not the same as Mathias ‘the chandler’ St John, Sr.

Mathias Sension was one of two London men of the same name from the same time.[1] This Mathias was a shoemaker, who with wife Sara christened the following children at St Botolph, Bishopsgate, City of London.
He is distinct from Matthias St John, a chandler, who with wife Mary Tinker christened children at St. Nicholas Cole Abbey, also in London.
He is also distinct from Mathew St John, son of Thomas St John and Jane Mathew.
NOTE: Suzanne St John believes that Mathew, son of Thomas and Jane, was the same as Mathias, shoemaker of Bishopsgate who married Sarah and had William, Elizabeth and Sara. I'm still trying to understand how she concluded that. Smith-32867 18:31, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
