About Maud Cool
"Maud R. Cool, 96, of East Lake Raod, RD 3, Geneva, N.Y., died Sunday, October 6, 1985 at Geneva General Hospital. Mrs. Cool was born in Auburn, the daughter of Lewis and Nina Shimel Rounds. She lived in Syracuse for many years before moving to Geneva in 1945. She was a food service supervisor at the former Sampson Air Base in Seneca County. Mrs. Cool was a member of Grace Church Willow dale, MacDougall and the Rebekah Lodges in Syracuse and Geneva. She also was a member of the Auxiliary of Seneca Country Firemen's Association.
Surviving are a sister, Marion "Mary" Rounds of Geneva and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Burial will be in Grace Church Willowdale cemetery, MacDougall." (Auburn Citizen, 8 October 1985)
