Maureen Love

Maureen Love is the harpist in the Pink Martini Band.

Maureen Love, nationally known professional harpist and recording artist, began her classical training at the age of nine, in Los Angeles, California.

She was awarded three music scholarships, one to the University of Southern California where she was chosen soloist with the Symphony Orchestra performing Ravel's Introduction and Allegro.

As evidence of her versatility, her repertoire encompasses an unusually broad range of music from the Grand Baroque Era, (Bach & Vivaldi), to Broadway, Sacred, Contemporary and a smattering of Jazz.

Maureen Love's music is a rich blend of emotion, warmth and sensitivity, demonstrating virtuosity rarely heard on the instrument.

Maureen Love is recognized as one of the West Coast's most accomplished harpists, and has released 8 commercial recordings.

Maureen Love's brothers are Mike Love of the Beach Boys and Stan Love, retired professional basketball player.
