Dear Shraga,

I think I may have more information on a ? relative of yours, Maurycy Lammel born 1910. I'm not certain but I believe Maurycy Lammel was a doctor who qualified in Vienna in 1937. I believe he made his way to England where I found him registered as a stateless refugee in 1939. I think he changed his name to Maurice Lamell. He married a lady named Beate Kindler in Pancras, London in 1940. She changed her name to Beatrice Lamell.

Beate/Beatrice died in Croydon, London in 1981. Maurice remarried my aunt Angela Sefton in 1983. My aunt was born Angela McDonnell. She married Daniel Sefton so the marriage is found under Angela Sefton. Daniel died in 1968.

Maurice died in 2000 in Croydon, London. I did meet him several times. He was a wonderful kind gentle and intelligent man. He was a family doctor in London for many years and active in the British Medical Association. I have an obituary in the British Medical Journal for him. I really liked him a lot.
