Max Dean Hallock

Max Dean Hallock of Roseville, IL passed away Saturday, March 19th at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, IL. He was the son of Thomas Hallock and Mae Schriner Hallock and born on June 17, 1923 in Coles County, IL His parents and his brother Wayne Hallock preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Hubbard Hallock of Roseville, IL, sister Maurine Goeddey of Greene County, brother Arthur Hallock of Jacksonville.

Surviving him are his children, Bonnie Robinson of Springfield, Donna DeSelms and husband Mark of Roseville, Jon Hallock and wife Heidi of Dover, TN, Ron Hallock and wife Landra of Plainfield, IN. Grandchildren Steven Robinson, Julie Robinson Matthews,Jeff Robinson, Craig DeSelms, Nicole DeSelms, Keith DeSelms, Joseph Hallock, Cori Hallock and Veronica Hallock, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.

Visitation in Indiana is from 5 to 7:30pm on Thursday, March 24th at the Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville, Indiana. The Friday, March 25th, service in IL is at the First Christian Church in Monmouth, IL with visitation from 4-7pm followed by the funeral service. There is a service at the Walnut Grove Christian Church in Arcola, IL at 2pm Saturday, March 26th. The gravesite service is at 3:30pm at the Enon Baptist Church (SBC) at Ashmore, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 514 N Sunnylane, Monmouth, IL 61462 for their Timothy Scholarship Fund for Lincoln Christian University.
