- Max Moshe Hoffmann was born in Hermanuv Mestec, Czechoslovakia in 1891 to David and Rosa nee Troller. He was a bookkeeper and married to Marie nee Herrmann. Prior to WWII he lived in Praha, Czechoslovakia. During the war he was in Praha, Czechoslovakia.
