Mrs. Mayme Hauglid, 81, of Crookston, Minnesota, died unexpectedly at her home Monday, July 28, 1975.
She was born December 8, 1893 in New Ulm, Minnesota, to T. W. and Mary Owens.
She came to the Angus-Euclid, Minnesota area as a young girl.
On January 28, 1013, she married Thomas E. Hauglid. The couple farmed in the Euclid, Minnesota area until coming to Crookston, Minnesota in 1923. Mr. Hauglid preceded her in death in February of this year.
Mrs. Hauglid was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1973.
Mrs. Hauglid is survived by three sons, Harvey of Crookston, Minnesota; Lester of Moorhead, Minnesota; and Mervin of Colma, California.
Also 8 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother; T. J. Owens of Crookston, Minnesota; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Vilen of Farmington, New Mexico, Mrs. Esther Pearson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Hattie Weiland of Crookston, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one grandson.
