Parents of Elizabeth Seeley Young. The name “Seeley” is also spelled “Seely” and “Seelye.” Mahittabil, also called Mayhitible Bennett was born on October 12, 1780, according to a record of her endowment. She was also called “Hettie.” It is spelled Mahittabil on her headstone, but her daughter Elizabeth spelled Mayhitible in a letter.
