Biography
Mehitable Fenner, d/o Lt. Gov. Thomas and Dinah (Borden) Fenner of R.I. She married (1) Timothy Starkweather; (2) Samuel Sterry; 3d Dr. Wm. Blodgett.[1]
Named as a married daughter in her father's will: Maj. Fenner died Feb. 27, 1718, ae. 65 years and 5 months, his will having been made Feb, 19, of same year. In this document he made, due provision for his wife Dinah, and his "poor helpless child Eleazar, bestowed £5 apiece on his three daughters Freelove Westcotte, Mehitable Starkweather, and Mary Abbott, and divided his remaining property between his five sons Thomas, Richard, Joseph, Arthur and John.[2]
Mehitable Fenner m. Timothy Starkweather 18 Oct 1705 in Preston, Connecticut.[3] Timothy Starkweather of Stonington died about 1717. His wife Mehitable administered his estate. Samuel Sterry and Samuel Prentes took the inventory[4]

William, m. Mehetable Steevens*. Mar. 31, 1737 (*note at bottom of page of original manuscript states: "Wm. Blodgett's widow is referred to as widow of Samuel Sterry in probate files of Blodgett estate")[6] When William died about 1739, Mehitable the widow refused to administer his estate leaving it to William's eldest son William.[7]
