About Metha, of the Powhatan
According to Shawnee Heritage IV, entry 221, she was the daughter of Chief Powhatan and Ponnoiske Quiquoghcohannock, given in marriage to Chief Dededeavon of the Accawmacke (sub)confederacy as one of his wives. She had two children, (unnamed) ?1603-? and "Ann Debedeavon" (?1605-probably 1623), who was said to be the wife/partner of Ensign Thomas Savage (and, presumably, mother of Thomas "the Carpenter" Savage).
Note: dates are guesswork and may be significantly wrong.
