Meyer Melnikoff Meyer Melnikoff, 83, of Verona, died Monday, July 30 at Claridge House I, Verona. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Millburn before moving to Verona 18 years ago. He was the pension management asset manager with Goldman-Sachs in New York City for 10 years before retiring in 1990. Earlier, he had been a senior officer with the Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, for 42 years. He helped to develop the PRISA asset management portfolio to separate real estate pension assets. Mr. Melnikoff was a graduate of Montclair State College. He passed the 10 actuarial exams and became a fellow of the Society of Actuary. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; a son, Peter; daughters, Mrs. Susan Sibley and Dr. Barbara Melnikoff; a sister, Mrs. Roslyn Thaler, and two grandchildren. Services were held at Temple Sholom of West Essex in Cedar Grove. |
