Michael and other members of his family were first buried in the Earl/English Cemetery, 5 miles east of Plainview, Yell Co., AR. This cemetery was moved to Salem Cemetery, north of Plainview, when Nimrod Dam was built.

Michael was listed as 71 and born in Georgia in the 1850 Saline County, AR census. I've not found any public record after that to indicate for certain the data is about Michael, Sr. and not Michael, Jr.

Karen lists his death date as 1860.

Starr lists his death date as 1868.

We need documentation. He may have died some time after the 1850 census, but before the 1860 census.

I didn't find him in the 1860 census, but have read elderly persons were often not included if children no longer lived in their households. I've also not found his wife in the 1860 census.
