Michelle Caruso-Cabrera (born February 9, 1967) is an American journalist, board member and former politician.[1].She was an anchor and reporter at CNBC for more than 20 years. She was CNBC’s first Latina anchor at and first Chief International Correspondent regular and is now a CNBC contributor. Caruso-Cabrera challenged incumbent representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the 2020 Democratic primary for New York's 14th congressional district, which covers portions of the Bronx and Queens. She unsuccessfully ran for the Democratic nomination for the 2021 New York City Comptroller election.
