<p>.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Jean Hudson Post to genealogy.com Bell Forum post # 10615</p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Transcription of the will of Mildred Bell, widow of James Bell </p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>In the Name of God Amen, I Mildred Bell of Sussex County being in health and of a sound mind and calling to mind that it is apointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament and as to the worldly goods that it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose of in the following manner (to wit)</p><p><p>Item - I give to my Son George Bell & my Daughters Mary McGee & Mildred Moore each Five Shillings.</p></p><p><p>Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Salley Wilks Northcross all my wearing clothes of every kind whatsoever to her and her heirs forever.</p></p><p><p>Item - I give and bequeath to my Son Benjamin Bell one counter pin and one bed blanket to him and his heirs forever.</p></p><p><p>Item - I give and bequeath to my grandson James Bell Jarratt one counter pin and one bed blanket to him and his heirs forever.</p></p><p><p>My will and desire is that all the remaining part of my estate consisting of stock of horses cattle sheep and hogstogether with my household and kitchin furniture of all kinds whatsoever except two counter pins and two bed blankets given away above be sold to the highest bider and the money ariseing from the said sale be divided in the following manner that is to say.</p><p><p>Item - I give and bequeath to my grandson Thomas Northcross ten pounds to him and his heirs forever.</p></p><p><p>My will and desire is that the remaining part of the money ariseing from my estate be equally divided between my eight grand children namely Thomas Northcross Mary Northcross Susanah Northcross Balaam Northcross Wilson Northcross Seymour Northcross Mildred Northcross Martha Northcross which money I give to them and their heirs forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and apoint Benjamin Green Frederick Northcross and John Green whole and sole executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made declareing this and this only to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of April one thousand eight hundred and six.
