Mildred Louise( Clarkson) Bastedo (Laidlaw)

Mildred was known by "Louise" most of her life. She was the mother of 4 children through Orla.

She married Orlando Kirk Clarkson on 8-27-1920 at her parent’s (Andrew J. Laidlaw and Espie Jane Laidlaw) home in Melvin MI. And they were divorced circa(1931).

Then was married to Walt Bastedo and had 3 children by him. The eldest, first born son, being Gerald Bastedo, and a set of TWIN BOYS. The only twin who survived was named Walter Jr. The other twin died shortly after birth.

She lived in her Childhood home in Melvin, Flint  Mich., on Dort Hwy., and  Bradenton, FL.  and buried arc” Big Issac cemetery  in W. Virginia beside her husband  Walter Badtedo.
