About Miles Thomas Duncan, Sr.
Miles was in the CSA. He entered 8/14/1862 around the age of 30. He enlisted into the infantry at Newsite, AL as a pvt. He was part of the 6th Alabama Regiment Company unit G. He was reported as being at Bunker Hill, VA in 9/1/ 1864, Camp Terrell, VA 4/1/1864 and in Camp Rodes, VA in 1865. He was reported as absent from Co M & L but was found to have been ill in the hospital. He also was a prisoner of war.
