Mohammad Hassan Mirza Qajar (Persian: شاهزاده محمدحسن میرزا قاجار‎; 20 November 1899 – 7 January 1943) was the brother of Ahmad Shah Qajar of Iran, and former Crown Prince of the Qajar dynasty. Soon after Reza Shah deposed the Qajar dynasty and made himself Shah of Iran in 1925, Prince Mohammad Hassan and his family were sent into permanent exile to England. In 1930, he declared himself the rightful heir to the crown as pretender to the throne. During the Russian occupation, Crown Prince Mohammad Hassan Mirza resided in Tabriz. Beginning in 1906 and through a Persian concession, a Russian government company had constructed a road from the Russian railhead at Julfa to Tabriz. While the region under Russian occupation, they upgraded the road to a railroad. Immediately Tahmasby and Yazdanpanah friends of the new king (Reza Shah Pahlavi) were commissioned to expel Mohammad Hassan Mirza, the crown prince. As it is narrated, officials responsible for this mission treated the crown prince rather harshly; he had to take off his military uniform.
