Mohd Din Abdul Manaf

A Malay 'gentlemen', by associationship with his English employer Mr. Fergusson. Worked for D.I.D. and later became a private surveyor and draughtsman. Used to follow him around on his survey works, carrying the staff, was paid a few ringgit for "working". A kind man, soft spoken, witty, always testing my maths (i'm bad at it). He'll always tell me i'll never make it as a surveyor without maths.He's thrifty, mkes you work for money like cleaning his car, clean his surveying gear. He has an office in town where he draws his plans. I ll sit and watch him work for a while before I expore the area, or read in the park in front of his office. During the holidays of course. I remember keeping my wages and had a long trousers tailored, my first trousers, paid with my money. hehe
