7 April 1640: Charter by Donald McLauchlane, captain of Insedonnell, and Colin McLauchlane, his lawful first born son and heir apparent, in implement of their part in a contract of marriage made 3 March last between them and Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, knight, bart., for himself and Moir Campbell, his natural daughter, giving said Moir Campbell in liferent the 20 shilling land of Couldconnell, the 16 shilling and 8 penny land of Dupenni alias Ballegowne, the 3 merk land of Ereden, and 2½ merk land of Camismachgawine, in barony of Lochawe in sheriffdom of Argyll, in full satisfaction of all her third part as relict spouse of said Colin after his decease, with precept of sasine directed to John Campbell of Orgaig, baillie in that part to said Donald and Colin.
